lbbecker_1 asked: I need to refinance my car to try and get out of debt, but I also have past due credit cards. It seems as though to get help with either one they want the other situation to disappear.

bgsimsrvp asked: The individual took the loan out quite awhile back, when she was a struggling single mother. Now she is making around 80K per year, and doing fine. Wants to refinance so as to consolidate debts into a low interest, low payment fixed loan. The prospective mortgage companies won’t touch her existing loan due to the fact that it is a USDA loan.

Kenneth D asked: My wife had no credit when I got the loan, but she has credit now and I want to add her to the loan, but to do so I will have to refinance. This could hurt my score? But could help my intrest rate. (Currently 13%) May credit has also gotten better since the loan. It’s been 7 months now, I heard I should wait until a year.

nini asked: I bought my house 9 years ago, and I have very low interest. I’m in the process of buying a 2nd house planning to rent the first one. My question is how soon after I sign the papers for the other house can I refinance this house.
I just want to get more confortable with my payments. I also have a good credit. I don’t know if that helps.
Thanks.

Is it too soon to refinance to get a lower payment?

tolbunt5 asked: I need a lower monthly payment on my 2006 Toyota Corolla I bought new from the dealer. Can I refinance the loan to do this? How do I go about it?
I already have a Home Equity Loan for something else. The car loan is through a credit union. I am maxed out on lines of credit.
I already used my Home Equity line of Credit for something else, so I can’t use it for that. I still owe $14,500, there is not enough equity left to pay that!

MikeyJ asked: I have heard that mortgage rates are really low right now. Does that mean that it would be a good idea to refinance my mortgage in order to get a lower rate? How do I do the math to figure out if it would be worth it or not? Are there any hidden costs or fees in a refinance?
